"My second time staying with David in the Sierra Nevadas, and again, has been a week of great riding, accommodation and hospitality, and, if you want it, lots of bars in Orgiva to have a few beers at the end of a day´s riding."
Ian Grace, April 2007
The mountain biking experience of a lifetime. The climbs are long and hard, the descents make you smile from ear to ear. Thanks very much Dave.
Darren, Derbyshire, September 2004
Infinitely better than expected, can't wait to come again and enjoy the biking and nightlife. Cheers.
Jonathan, September 2004
Thanks for a great week in Orgiva. This was exactly what I needed, a way to better understand some of the limits of mountain biking. As you say, I really arrived a novice and left an intermediate. Really perfect.
Matt, June 2004
You have a good thing going there and, to be fair, it is as cheap as chips as well!
Alan Preston, April 2004
Good time, great biking
Jeremy, February 2004
Biking in this area has been wonderful. If you have as much fun as our group of mixed abilty has had, you will have a great holiday.
Howard, Cumbria, December 2003
We had great weather and fantastic experiences in the mountains.
David's guiding suited us perfectly. This is a week that needs to be repeated.
Vergard and Anja, Norway, November 2003
Excellent week's biking holiday. David's experience in the mountains
added to the enjoyment. See you again David.
David Robson, Northumberland, November 2003
Best biking holiday we have ever had
Pete and Louise ( veterans of many, more expensive, biking holidays), June 2003.
Superb riding in the beautiful mountains of the Sierra Nevada. We had a fabulous holiday with great mountain biking trails, hot dry weather and excellent guiding all round. Comfortable accommodation with the delight of jumping in the cool pool after a good days cycling. We're coming back in March for more!!

Scenic MTB Holidays that won't break the bank. Looking for a trip somewhere sunny and scenic? How about the Alpujarras in Southern Spain? Biking Andalucia run guided trips from their farmhouse in Orgiva (two hours from Malaga) in Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada. The accommodation goes for the simple and reasonably priced approach, and there's a swimming pool for post-ride relaxation.
What Mountain Bike, August 2002
Dave, a roadie and mountain biker from Cumbria, knows the place well and gets you to the best bits without wasting valuable holiday time. Many tracks run straight out of the town into the hills with little to do on tarmac, though we also drove to a couple of routes further off. There wasn't a lot of snow when we were there in February so we went up to 2,800 m and stopped in a refuge. The return to 400 m was 25 miles of almost continuous descent!

Warm sun and dry tracks in February? There's no better antidote to winter biking blues than this. Overnighting at 9000+ feet followed by a 25-mile descent, and visiting Las Guajares, were the highlights of a great week's biking. Thanks Dave - we're knackered!
Steve Chaplin and Kate Edwards, February 2002
Fab rides, great location and cheap food and beer. Even the non-cyclist had a good time. I think the fact that we came back within 6 months of our first visit says it all. See you again, I'm sure.
